The identity's been released of a man killed in a crash on Friday afternoon, Jan. 20 on a Hudson Valley roadway. It involved two vehicles, a Hyundai Elantra which was in the middle of Route 304 in New City, and a Toyota Highlander which had traveled into the wooded area adjacent to the northbound lanes of the highway around midday Friday, according to Clarkstown Police Department Detective Norm Peters. This story has been updated. A busy roadway in the region was closed for hours during an investigation following a fatal crash early in the afternoon on Friday, Jan. 20. Operator Of Limo Company Charged With Negligent Homicide For Crash That Killed 20
The operator and son of the owner of the limousine company involved in the horrific weekend crash that resulted in 20 fatalities in upstate New York over the weekend has been arrested and charged with criminally negligent homicide, state police announced at a Wednesday afternoon press conference. Nauman Hussain, the 28-year-old son of Shahed Hussain of Prestige Limousine in Saratoga County, was taken in custody during what police called a controlled traffic stop on I-787 near Albany. GARFIELD, N.J. – An 80-year-old Garfield man reported missing after he left home in his car Wednesday morning was found just outside Trenton on Friday by a Good Samaritan who "noticed that he appeared lost," police said. The Good Samaritan helped Yun T. Lee contact his family and then local police in Lawrenceville, more than 60 miles from home. Police there determined that he was "in good health," Sucorowski said.
