Covid-19: Here's Latest Rundown Of Rockland County Cases By Municipalities
Rockland County continued to see new, but now moderate amounts, of cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
On Tuesday, May 5, 46 new cases were reported, bringing the total number of cases to 12,144 since the pandemic began, according to the state Department of Health.
There have been 551 deaths from the virus in the county, Rockland County Health officials said.
There are currently 169 people hospitalized that are confirmed, a slight increase; and 15 hospitalized cases that are under investigation.

The number of cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to climb as the death toll rises in Rockland County, according to the Department of Health.
There are currently 9,171 reported cases, according to New York State Health officials.
As of Monday, April 20, there are still 245 confirmed COVID-19 patients who are hospitalized, with an additional 193 cases pending.
Since the outbreak began, there have been 334 COVID-19 related deaths.

The number of fatalities continues to rise in Rockland County from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As of midnight Thursday, April 16, there are 3,421 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Rockland Department of Health. The state, which uses cases by Zip codes, lists the number of cases in Rockland as 8,752.
In addition, there were 319 deaths reported in the county as of Thursday.
Those hospitalized for confirmed COVID-19 numbered 244, and those hospitalized for suspected COVID-19 was 229.

The number of fatalities continues to rise in Rockland County from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As of Tuesday, April 14, there are 2,934 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Rockland Department of Health. The state, which uses cases by Zip codes, lists the number of cases in Rockland as 8,335.
In addition, there were 241 deaths reported in the county on Monday, and 263 on Tuesday.

Westchester Man Among Three Nabbed In Major Drug Ring Bust
A Westchester man and two Rockland County residents have been charged as being part of a major drug ring that sold fentanyl and heroin at a popular produce market.
Jovanny Torres, 27, of Yorktown, Anthony Antonucci, 34, of Valley Cottage, and Kaitlyn Jefferson, 37, of Thiells were all charged in June as being part of the ring that operated out of the Hunts Point Produce Market in the Bronx, according to the Bronx District Attorney's Office.
The three are part of a ring of 13 people charged in the operation which included the sale of fentanyl, to undercover agents, the DA's Office said.

Penguin Rep Theatre is saddened to announce the passing of Susan (Sue) Brancato, 98, of Thiells, its co-founder and long-time business manager, and mother of artistic director Joe Brancato.
Executive Director Andrew M. Horn said, “Sue ran the box office, kept the books, housed and fed actors, was the kindly and helpful voice on the phone, and so much more. She dedicated over 30 years to ensuring that professional theatre artists had a home in the lower Hudson Valley before retiring, at the age of 92, in 2011.”
