Dutchess County resident William Christopher Bean IV, of Hyde Park, died in Albany on Monday, April 18, according to his obituary. Dean's List College Student From Hudson Valley Found Dead In Dorm Room A college student from the Hudson Valley has died at age 20. Dutchess County resident Cory Gallinger, of Salt Point, a junior at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, was found unresponsive in his dorm room on Sunday, March 21, according to college officials. The cause of death has not been released. On Monday, March 22, a vigil was held outside a chapel on campus, with approximately 1,000 attending, according to Syracuse.com. Lifelong Area Resident Loses Battle With Early Onset Alzheimer's Deborah L. Miller, a lifelong area resident, lost her battle with early onset Alzheimer’s disease on March 16 at home with her family by her side. She was 64. Born in Poughkeepsie on Nov. 18, 1953, she was the daughter of John and Christina Merte Whiten. Her father predeceased her and her mother survives. She worked for the National Park Service for 30 years as a museum aide and was also a member of the Hyde Park United Methodist Church.
