ID Released For Teen Killed In I-84 Crash
A teenager who was killed in a fiery crash on I-84 has been identified. Danbury resident Liam Declan Devine, 17, was driving west on I-84 shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17 near Exit 9 in Newtown when he lost control of his vehicle, Connecticut State Police said. Devine traveled through the grass out of control, over an embankment and into a tree. When Devine struck the tree, his vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. Westchester's Jane McManus Named Director Of Center For Sports Communication At Marist
A face familiar to sports enthusiasts has accepted a prestigious job at an area college. Following a national search, Marist College in Poughkeepsie has named sports journalist Jane McManus as the Director of the College’s Center for Sports Communication, effective as of Dec. 1.
