The entertainment capital of the world will soon be just a five-hour flight away. Nonstop flights from Albany International Airport to Las Vegas will resume on Monday, Aug. 5. More than 2,500 Southwest Airlines flights were canceled and 8,3072 delayed as of Wednesday, Dec. 28, leaving even more passengers across the US stranded and seething. Southwest Airlines has canceled more than 1,800 of its flights this weekend, citing bad weather and air traffic control issues. According to a report from CNBC, the airline canceled 1,000-plus flights on Sunday, Oct. 10, after canceling 808 on Saturday, Oct. 9.
