Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Having Sexual Conduct With Child
A New York man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing a young child.
Orange County resident Jairo Garcia, age 31, of Newburgh, was arrested Wednesday, May 18, following an investigation by Orange County Child Protective Services and New York State Police.
Investigators accused him of engaging in sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13.
Garcia was charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, police said.

Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Making Videos, Photographs Of Children Performing Sexual Acts
An 18-year-old Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly producing videos of children performing sexual acts.
The unnamed Ulster County resident, from Kingston, who was underage at the time of the crime, was arrested on Friday, May 13, following a two-month investigation by the Saugerties Police, authorities said.
On Thursday, March 17, Saugerties Police received a complaint from a juvenile female that an 18-year-old male from Kingston was producing videos of children in the act of sexual performance, said Chief Joseph Sinagra of the Saugerties Police.

Deli Owner In Northern Westchester Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Employee
A Northern Westchester deli owner has been found guilty of the sex abuse of an employee in 2021.
Patrick Patierno, age 54, of Yorktown, was found guilty on Monday, May 9 following a two-week trial in which the jury found the Ossining deli owner sexually abused the employee, said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah.
On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, around 9:30 a.m., Patierno entered the home of the victim, who was one of his employees. Once inside, he restrained the victim and forcibly subjected her to sexual contact, the DA's Office said.

32-Year-Old From Capital Region Nabbed For Sexual Abuse Of Young Child, State Police Say
A Capital Region man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing a young child.
Columbia County resident Ruben Martinez Cruz, age 32, of Valatie, is charged with felony criminal sexual act in the first degree, New York State Police said.
Cruz was arrested Friday, April 22, after an investigation by State Police and the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center found that he sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 11, police said.
He's currently being held at the Columbia County jail on a $100,000 bond.
He was scheduled to appear back in court Tuesday, May 17.
Man Nabbed For Sexual Abuse Of A Child In Area
A man has been arrested following a month-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a child in the Hudson Valley.
Herald J. Bodensiek, age 64, of Edison, New Jersey, was arrested on Tuesday, March 8, following the investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
"At this time Mr. Bodensiek is accused of having sexual contact with a child," said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
Following his arrest, Bodenesiek was charged with sexual abuse and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

Westchester Woman Faces Child Porn Charges
A Westchester County woman is one of two people facing child pornography charges following an investigation.
Dilicia Aguirre-Orellana, age 22, of Yonkers, and 33-year-old Jonathan Rivera, of Brooklyn, were both charged with production and receipt and distribution of child pornography, according to an announcement on Monday, Feb. 28, from Damian Williams, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Aguirre-Orellana was also charged with possession of child pornography, Williams said.
