You Can Audition For 'American Idol' Virtually — As Long As You Were Born Between These Dates
Are you the next "American Idol?" The popular ABC singing competition is holding virtual auditions for the upcoming season this month and next. As long as you are of a certain age (scroll down for audition dates). According to the "American Idol" casting application website, contestants must be born between June 2, 1995 and Feb. 15, 2010. Additionally, contestants must be legal U.S. residents authorized to participate in the entire competition. 'Still Feels Like Dream': Hudson Valley Duo To Audition On 'American Idol'
Fans of "American Idol" will soon be able to watch two women from the Hudson Valley sing their hearts out on the show and fulfill their childhood dreams. Both Westchester County resident Amara Valerio of Yonkers and Rockland County resident Dany Epp of Suffern will appear on the beloved show in an episode airing on Sunday, March 12 on ABC at 11:35 p.m. Valerio and Epp, both lifelong fans of the show, sang in front of celebrity judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie in Las Vegas and said that the auditions were something that they felt their whole lives had led up to. Westchester Woman Among Finalists In Powerball's First Millionaire Of 2020 Drawing
A lucky Westchester woman will start the new decade with a chance to win a $1 million bucks during "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest." Kai Nichols, 49, of White Plains, was one of five people chosen to become the first Powerball winner of 2020 during a drawing on Sunday, Dec. 29.
