The incident occurred in Dutchess County in Pleasant Valley around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 Ford Taurus northbound on the Taconic Parkway for violations of the vehicle and traffic law. It happened on the southbound side around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in Pleasant Valley just south of Exit 54 (Route 44). Severe Deterioration Leads To Closure Of Busy Area Bridge The Mill Lane Bridge in the Town of Pleasant Valley has been closed to all traffic, the Dutchess County Department of Public Works announced on Wednesday, March 27. This closure is the result of a New York State Department of Transportation inspection, which found “severe deterioration” of the bridge’s steel girders. The bridge, which is located toward the southern end of Mill Lane at the Parksville Road and Drake Road intersection, has a daily traffic count of around 140 vehicles.
