The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. on Rinaldi Boulevard. According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police, all responding officers and detectives searched for the suspect, who managed to escape. Heavy Rain, Storms Lead To New Sewage Discharge Warning In Poughkeepsie The thunderstorms passing through the region led to a sewage discharge that flooded into the Hudson River. For the second time in two days, the Poughkeepsie Water Pollution Control Plant has issued an alert after 6,000 gallons of untreated waste was spilled into the Hudson River over the span of 20 minutes on Tuesday. The latest discharge was first reported at 2 p.m. Tuesday and was quickly rectified. It has since been contained.
