Students in a Hudson Valley school district hit hard by the national bus shortage will be returning to class this week. Tim Mains, superintendent of Pine Bush Central School District in Orange County, said that all seven schools in the district would be opening back up on Tuesday, Sept. 14 as they scramble to cover approximately 100 routes. Classes were canceled again for a Hudson Valley school district that is struggling to contend with the national school bus driver shortage. There has been a new school closure due to a positive case of COVID-19 in the Hudson Valley. The school, in Sullivan County, is the George L. With schools in New York set to physically reopen in September, some teachers in the Hudson Valley have shown trepidation about returning to the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. A prestigious university has come up with a plan to welcome students back to campus in the fall amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
