Man From Region Caught Stealing Copper Pipes, Police Say A man from the region was arrested after allegedly being caught in the basement of a housing complex sawing off copper pipes. Sullivan County resident Joshua Whidbee, age 44, of Monticello, was nabbed on Monday, Dec. 13, after the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary. According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Sunny Forest Bungalow Colony on Liberty Road in the town of Thompson.
