Three Charged For Separate Violent Incidents In Area, Authorities Say
Three men are facing charges in separate violent incidents involving weapons in a Hudson Valley city.
Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced the charges against three Port Jervis men on Wednesday, Jan. 5.
Christopher Sicina, age 22, was arrested by Port Jervis City Police on Monday, Jan. 3, and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment, the DA's Office announced.
The charges stem from an incident on Wednesday, Nov. 3, where gunshots were fired at a home on Hammond Street in Port Jervis, Hoovler said.

Two AT&T Wireless stores in Bergen County were burglarized by a Port Jervis pair – one of whom is already being held in Pennsylvania for another crime there, authorities announced Monday, Dec. 20.
Lourriston Potter, age 39, was arrested at his home on Friday, Dec. 17 by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Port Jervis police and the Pike County, PA District Attorney’s Office, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Man Injures Officers Responding To Disturbance In Area, Police Say
A man was apprehended after he allegedly slammed a glass door in the face of police officers, injuring two, one seriously, in the area.
The incident happened in Orange County around 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 16, in Port Jervis.
Officers responded to a home for a domestic disturbance call between former intimate partners, said Port Jervis PD Lt. John Fitzpatrick.
