The identities have been released of two men and two women all in their 20s who were killed in a horrific wrong-way crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in New Haven County on the southbound side when a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in West Haven, Connecticut State Police said. A 19-year-old woman, who died in a crash in the Hudson Valley worked at an elementary school in the area. Hailee Witherel was driving a Nissan Sentra on Sand Hill Road in the Ulster County town of Gardiner at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, when her car went off the road and into a small pond, police reported. A popular Jewish singer from the Hudson Valley was seriously injured in a crash on I-78 in Pennsylvania, according to news site Hamodia and a tweet asking for prayers. Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a toddler in the area. First responders from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reported to a stretch of Route 22 in Amenia at approximately 8:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, where there was a report of a fatal crash.
