New Windsor Woman Caught On Video Stealing From Neighbor
A reported theft of a water jug full of coins, led to the arrest of a New Windsor woman after she was caught on video entering the apartment where the theft took place, according to the New Windsor Police Department. Mia Toi Hood, 33, was arrested Thursday for the theft which took place on March 3 at an apartment in the Mason Ridge Apartment complex, said Det. Sgt. Chris Sager. A resident had reported that an unknown person had entered his apartment and stole a water jug full of assorted coins. A New Windsor woman was arrested for DWI following a rollover crash in which she was injured, according to New Windsor police. Police found Yajaira Rosa, 26, around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday trying to climb out of the passenger's side window when they arrived on the scene in the area of Little Britain Road and Station Road, said Lt. Michael Farbent. Rosa, who was the only person in the vehicle, had lost control of her vehicle, causing it to rollover landing on the driver's side, Farbent said. Driver Ejected In New Windsor Crash
A 23-year-old man was injured during a one-vehicle crash in New Windsor, according to New Windsor Police. The crash took place around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday on Jackson Avenue when Zachary Carey, of New Windsor, was ejected from his 2004 Subaru Impressa after failing to negotiate the roadway, said New Windsor Police Lt. Michael Farbent. After being ejected, the vehicle struck a tree and caught fire, Farbent said. Four people were transported to the hospital following a crash between an ambulance and another vehicle in the Town of New Windsor early Friday, according to the New Windsor Police Department. The crash occurred about 4:30 a.m., when a Cornwall ambulance traveling to Orange Regional Medical Center collided with another vehicle in the intersection of 5 Corners in the Vails Gate area in the Town of New Windsor, said Lt. 19-Year-Old Charged In Armed Robbery Of New Windsor Convenience Store
A 19-year-old Monroe man is behind bars followed a lengthy investigation into a late December armed robbery at a convenience store in Orange County. Officers from the New Windsor Police Department responded to the Cumberland Farms Store, located at 401 Blooming Grove Turnpike in the Town of New Windsor on Dec. 29 after an armed robbery.
