Update: Fierce Fire Ravages $3M Tenafly Home 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A fierce fire blew through a $3 million Tenafly home Friday night. Everyone got out OK and no injuries were reported after the fire ignited on the first floor near the back of the Hudson Avenue home off County Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. June 14. It quickly went to three alarms and then, later, a fourth for coverage. Firefighters had the bulk of the blaze knocked down within a half hour, then remained until 11 p.m. or so dousing hot spots. Missing Deaf NJ Woman, 87, Found Safe By Middletown Police -- 50 Miles From Home A 87-year-old New Jersey woman who went missing the day was found safe Friday morning by police in Middletown, authorities said. June Cross, who is deaf, was driving a grey 2009 Honda Accord when she left a meeting in another town and didn't return home Thursday morning, New Milford Police Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said. Around 4 p.m. she showed up in New Windsor, where police "gave her directions back to New Milford," Van Saders said. That was the last anyone had heard from her until Middletown police spotted Cross early Friday, he said.

Katie Ann was born in Teaneck and lived in Fairview before moving to Wayne. She was a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University and was studying to be a paralegal.  She also lived in New Milford Katie Ann was employed by Michael Sprague, Attorney in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of The Valley R.C. Church in Wayne. She is survived by her parents Angelo and Catherine (nee Cotrel) Mele of Wayne; brothers Michael and David Mele of Wayne; and grandmother Irene Horvath of Wayne. Services were private.
