Roads Reopen After Officer-Involved Shooting Off I-84 This story has been updated. An exit ramp on I-84 and other nearby roads near the New York/Connecticut border have reopened after an officer-involved shooting. Danbury Police and State Police remain on scene at Old Ridgebury Road, Connecticut State Police following the incident that occurred before noontime on Wednesday, July 3. The Department of Transportation had shut down the Exit 2 ramp at Ridgebury Road. Road closures also affected traffic near Trader Joe's and Rosie Tomorrow's on Mill Plain Road.
