Victim Dies After Stabbing At Park In Hudson Valley, Hunt On For Person Of Interest Police are searching for a suspect who is a "person of interest" in a deadly stabbing at a city park in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Pershing Avenue Park in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Sgt. Sean Fitzgerald of the Poughkeepsie Police, a man in his 50s, was found stabbed and bleeding at the park by responding officers. Two Men Shot As Fights Break Out Overnight In Poughkeepsie Two men suffered gunshot wounds as fights broke out amid a large crowd overnight in the City of Poughkeepsie, Lt. Matt Clark said. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of Church and Academy streets. A 29-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.
