Woman Dies Shortly After Being Pulled From Hudson River A woman was pronounced dead shortly after being pulled from the icy waters near a restaurant on the Hudson River. The incident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 when City of Poughkeepsie 911 received two calls from people at the Ice House on the Hudson restaurant reporting that a woman had crawled out onto the ice in the Hudson River. The woman crawled to the open channel in the middle of the river, where she then entered the water, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
