The warrant for the 23-year-old Laundrie was announced late Thursday afternoon, Sept. 23 by the FBI. The man's body was discovered in Hastings-on-Hudson at 10:15 a.m. on April 23, 1978, by a driver traveling north on the parkway, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. The incident took place around 2 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 7, in Sullivan County outside of Nelly's Sports Bar located at 456 Broadway in Monticello. The incident happened on Long Island just after noontime on Friday, July 23 in Suffolk County.
