26 Charged In 'Hot Lunch' Drugs, Guns Takedown In Hudson Valley
A food truck is at the center of a significant drug and gun takedown in the Hudson Valley that resulted in 26 arrests. The 26 were scooped up as part of a six-month-long investigation by numerous agencies throughout the Hudson Valley, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. In addition to the 26, Hoovler said two individuals are pending extradition from other states, and one is in ICE custody. Hudson Valley Guns, Drugs Trafficking Networks Busted, 7 Arrested, AG Says
Large gun trafficking and narcotics networks were busted and seven suspects were arrested during raids in the region. The networks and suspects were operating out of Dutchess County, mostly in the Poughkeepsie area, according to New York Attorney General Letitia James. The arrests were made on Wednesday, Feb. 14 throughout Dutchess County. Georgia Men Accused Of Trafficking Dozens Of Handguns Into NY, Feds Say
Two Georgia men are facing federal charges for allegedly transporting dozens of handguns into New York, authorities said. Patrick Polidore, age 32, was arraigned in federal court on Long Island Wednesday, Sept. 28 in Central Islip on an 11-count indictment alleging that he and co-defendant Dennis Wolfolk, age 29, illegally brought 27 handguns into the state. Wolfolk is in federal custody in Georgia and will be brought to the Eastern District of New York for arraignment at a later date, according to the US Attorney's Office. 4 Charged, 31 Ghost Guns Seized In Multi-Agency Westchester Bust
Four people have been charged and 31 guns ghost guns seized following a multi-agency investigation into a pipeline that brought guns from Washington, DC to Westchester County. The four were charged following their arrest in June for trafficking of illegal firearms from Washington, DC to Westchester between April and June, said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E.
