Man Returning From Car Show Killed After 1967 Convertible Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway A Hudson Valley man coming home from a car show in his 1967 Chevy convertible was killed after hitting a guard rail. The crash took place in Orange County around 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the town of Goshen on Route 94. According to Deputy Chief Allen Faust, of the Goshen Police, John Smith, age 52, of the Village of Florida, veered off the roadway, hit a guard rail, and then an earth embankment before flipping over. Police Use Narcan To Save Overdose Victim In Wallkill Some fast-thinking police officers in Orange County helped save a man’s life using Narcan to prevent a fatal overdose. Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, officers were dispatched to an Emergency Medical Services call at Round 1 Bowling and Amusement Center on Galleria Drive, where there were reports of a man possibly suffering from an overdose. Police said that upon arrival, officers found a 44-year-old Grahamsville man unconscious on the floor, demonstrating signs of an alleged overdose.
