A man who had allegedly murdered a woman earlier in the day in the Hudson Valley shot and killed himself in Connecticut in front of police when cornered. The incident began around 9 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31 in Rockland County when the Ramapo Police discovered a 56-year-old woman lying on the ground on Innwood Drive suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the Hillcrest section of Ramapo. 17-Year-Old Shot, Killed At Apartment Complex In Hudson Valley
Police are searching for a suspect after a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed overnight in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 2:30 a.m., Friday, July 8 in Spring Valley at the Meadow Lane Apartments at 150 West Eckerson Road. The teen, who was found by Spring Valley officers responding to shots fired, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern where he was pronounced dead, said Det. Driver Seriously Injured After SUV Crashes Into Pole On Route 45
A driver suffered serious injuries after crashing his SUV into a pole on Route 45 in Rockland County, police said. The driver struck the pole shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Route 45, police said. First responders were quick to the scene and the driver - who was the only person in the SUV at the time of the crash - was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. Fog, Deer Force Driver Off The Road And Into Tree In Ramapo, Police Say
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - A rogue deer combined with this weekend’s foggy conditions led to a caused a Rockland County motorist to lose control of her car, totaling it after she struck a tree. First responders in Ramapo were dispatched to a stretch of the Old Nyack Turnpike in Ramapo early on Saturday morning, where there were reports of a one-car crash, with the driver sustaining injuries.
