Suzanne Marie Irwin, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, who grew up in Westchester County, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, after 13-month illness with Glioblastoma, her obituary said. High School Student In Hudson Valley Dies After Brave Battle With Cancer A Hudson Valley high school student who lived in Connecticut has died at the age of 16 after he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Matthew Dooley died at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 5, following his battle with a glioblastoma brain tumor, according to his obituary. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Jane Dooley, his sisters, his grandmother and his uncles. Orange County resident Sue Giza, age 52, of Middletown, a 10th-grade math teacher Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, died on Monday, May 24.
