Road Rage: Shots-Fired Incident Under Investigation In Hudson Valley A road-rage confrontation on a busy highway led to the arrest of one man who allegedly fired shots at another car in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, on the Dutchess Turnpike near Degarmo Road in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to Capt. Ralph Cropley of the Poughkeepsie Police, an investigation found that a Dodge Ram and a Honda Accord were involved in the incident, and the driver of the Ram intentionally fired an illegally possessed handgun at the Accord, striking it and causing damage.
