Traffic Alert: Expect Lane Closures During Route 17K Upgrades In Hudson Valley Commuters can expect lane closures and reductions along Route 17K in the Hudson Valley during a culvert replacement. The closures begin in Orange County in the town of Montgomery on Monday, Sept. 18 at 7 a.m., said the New York State Department of Transportation. Road Closure Alert: Busy Hudson Valley Roadway To Undergo Culvert Replacement Motorists will want to make note that a busy Hudson Valley roadway will be closed for more than a month for construction upgrades. Route 208 in Orange County in the town of Hamptonburgh will be closed between Forrester Road and Station Road from Monday, July 10 through Sunday, Aug. 20 for culvert replacement, according to the state Department of Transportation. Drivers should follow the posted detour using Route 207 and Maybrook Road as an alternate. Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.

Officials Announce Upcoming 2-Week Road Closure In Northern Westchester State officials issued an alert about an upcoming two-week-long road closure in Northern Westchester. Route 128 is set to close between Sands Mill Road and Wampus Lakes Drive in North Castle beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The road closure, which is being implemented to facilitate a culvert replacement, will last through Monday, Oct. 3, officials said. Motorists should follow the posted detour using Route 117, Route 120, and Route 22 as an alternate, according to the announcement.

Closure Planned For Busy Roadway In Area The New York State Department of Transportation has advised motorists about a planned road closure on a stretch of State Route 94. The road will be closed in Orange County between Bernadette Way and Pine Crest Road in the Village of Washingtonville beginning Monday, May 23, officials announced on Monday, May 16. Officials said the road is expected to be closed through Thursday, June 23, to facilitate a culvert replacement.  Motorists should follow the detour using State Route 208, Mountain Lodge Road, and Clove Road as an alternate, state officials said.
