3 Teens, 1 Armed, Charged In Hudson Valley Burglary
Police captured three Hudson Valley teens for an alleged burglary in progress, one with a loaded gun.
The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the Tompkins Terrace area on Wednesday, April 3, in Beacon.
According to the Beacon Police, officers responded to the area and found the suspects had fled, but they were able to obtain a description of the teens.
A quick search of the area turned up the suspects, where police found a 15-year-old had a loaded, illegal weapon, the department said.

A Hudson Valley man was apprehended hiding inside a business after he allegedly attempted to break into another business.
Orange County resident Samuel Espada, age 44, of Harriman, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 21 in the town of Newburgh.
According to Lt. Peter Talarico of the Town of Newburgh Police, said officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief call at State Farm Insurance on Route 17K around 830 a.m.

500 Gallons Of Cooking Oil Stolen From Restaurant: Westchester Duo Nabbed In CT, Police Say
Two New York men have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than 500 gallons of used cooking oil at a Connecticut restaurant.
The men, both from Westchester County, were stopped in Litchfield County in Harwinton around 5:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 12.
According to Connecticut State Police, the duo, identified as Yonkers residents Jeyson Santiago, age 25, and Isaac Then, age 25, were stopped after troopers received a 911 call regarding a suspicious vehicle parked near a restaurant in Harwinton.

A Hudson Valley man has been charged with burglary after allegedly entering a home and stealing more than $1,000 in goods.
The incident took place in Rockland County around 9:25 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, in Stony Point.
Rafael Olivo, age 58, of Stony Point, was arrested after he allegedly entered a home and removed items valued at more than $1,000 without permission, said Lt. Greg Becker, of the Stony Point Police.

A local woman has been arrested for allegedly entering a Hudson Valley home and stealing more than $1K in items.
Danielle Logan, age 37, allegedly entered the Rockland County residence in Stony Point and removed items valued at more than $1,000, according to Lt. Greg Becker, of the Stony Point Police.
Following an investigation, Logan, a resident of Stony Point, was arrested and charged with:

Grandy larceny
Petit larceny

A 20-year-old man was charged with trespassing after police said he entered a closed Hudson Valley animal shelter to retrieve his dog.
In Rockland County, an employee at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center Inc. in Pomona discovered on Saturday, Sept. 17, that one of the dogs that was lodged at the shelter was missing, according to the Rockland County Sheriff's Office
The dog was lodged at the shelter on Friday, Sept. 16, after the animal was found wandering unattended in Ramapo, authorities said.

The incident took place on Saturday, March 26, in Ulster County at the Cantine Memorial Sports Complex in Saugerties.

Two men wanted on active warrants were nabbed by Orangetown Police after fleeing from police.
Dexter Fisher, 26, of Nanuet, and Tyrone Stewart, 28, of Nyack, were arrested around 12:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, on Franklin Street in Nyack, said Orangetown Det. Sgt. Thomas Holihan.

A Stony Point man was busted for criminal trespass and possession of pot after police found him, along with another man, attempting to enter a vacant home.
Jeremy T. Garcia, 21, was arrested Tuesday, June 5, after Stony Point police responded to a reported incident of two men attempting to enter a vacant home on Beech Road, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.
The responding officer located the suspects in the rear yard of the home allegedly smoking marijuana, Hylas said.
