33-Year-Old Woman Charged After 2-Year-Old Dies In Hot Car In Region A woman has been charged after a 2-year-old died in a hot car in the region. On Tuesday, July 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in Sullivan County, police responded to a 911 call of a child left in a vehicle at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex in Monticello. Upon arrival, officers located a 2-year-old boy in a 2012 Ford Explorer suffering from cardiac arrest, New York State Police said. 24-Year-Old Charged Following Triple-Fatal Hudson Valley Crash A Hudson Valley man has been charged with multiple counts of manslaughter following a triple-fatal crash. Orange County resident Anthony Jones, age 24 of Walden, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 12, following a 14-count indictment by a grand jury for the Aug. 4, 2021 crash in Wallkill. On Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, the New York State Police at Middletown investigated a motor vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of State Route 17 in the town of Wallkill between exits 118 and 119, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
