HILLSDALE, N.J. -- A drug deal gone bad left a victim likely paralyzed for life after he fell or was thrown from a car on a dead-end Hillsdale street, Daily Voice has learned. MAHWAH, N.J. -- (UPDATE) A 71-year-old Mahwah man was charged with torching his foreclosed house. Everett Nathaniel Johnson was being held in the Bergen County Jail Friday, charged with aggravated arson with the knowledge of "danger of death or bodily injury" in Thursday night's Marion Drive fire, records show. Carjacker Admits Smashing Cabbie Dumped In Woodbury With Beer Bottle
A New Jersey man admitted Wednesday that he smashed a cab driver in the head with a beer bottle during a carjacking before accomplices dumped the victim on the Thruway near Woodbury. Arlyn Jowany Carrasco Cruz, 27, of Waldwick and five accomplices carjacked the driver of a 2008 Dodge Caravan in the early morning hours of Dec. 26, 2016, forcing him into the back of the vehicle, Acting U.S. Attorney William E.
