Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill Person At Park In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a person at an area park.
The incident took place in Yorktown around 1:30 p.m., on Friday, April 29 at DeVito Memorial Park.
Sidney M. Russ, age 50, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested after officers responded to 345 Kear St. for a report of an aggravated harassment complaint, said the Yorktown Police.
Following an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that Russ placed the victim in fear by threatening to kill them, police said.

Teen Charged With Rape, Attempted Strangulation Of 19-Year-Old Girl, Police Say
A teen was arrested for allegedly raping and attempting to strangle a 19-year-old woman.
Devon Austin Payne, of Cragsmoor in Ulster County, was arrested by Town of Montgomery Police following an investigation into the Wednesday, Nov. 6, sexual assault, said Town of Montgomery Police Investigator Stephen Ragni.
Payne was charged with felony rape, felony strangulation, aggravated harassment, stalking, assault, and unlawful imprisonment, police said.
He was arraigned in the Town of Montgomery Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
Former Rockland Man Charged With Making Terroristic Threat
A man on parole was arrested for making terroristic threats toward the Rockland County Clerk's office, according to Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco.
Kim Vasquez, 37, of Austin, Texas, was nabbed Friday, March 9, in Congers after a warrant was put out for his arrest for making the threats through the clerk's website, said Det. Lt. Ted Brovarski.
At the time Vasquez was making the threats he was on parole in New York, with his supervision being monitored by the state of Texas due to his relocating to Austin, said Brovarski.
