An accused drug dealer was nabbed with a large quantity of fentanyl for sale in front of an elementary school in the region, police said. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Feb. 1, in the City of Poughkeepsie in front of Clinton Elementary School. According to Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, Joseph P. Task Force Bust: Hudson Valley Man Charged With Selling Fentanyl, Cops Say
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with the criminal sale of narcotics following an investigation into fentanyl sales in the area. Orange County resident Mackenzie A. Arias, age 23, of Newburgh, was arrested by the Dutchess County Drug Task following an investigation that lasted several months, said Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, of the task force. Two Men Shot As Fights Break Out Overnight In Poughkeepsie
Two men suffered gunshot wounds as fights broke out amid a large crowd overnight in the City of Poughkeepsie, Lt. Matt Clark said. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of Church and Academy streets. A 29-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.
