The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Feb. 1, in the City of Poughkeepsie in front of Clinton Elementary School. According to Sgt. Orange County resident Mackenzie A. Arias, age 23, of Newburgh, was arrested by the Dutchess County Drug Task following an investigation that lasted several months, said Det. Sgt. Two Men Shot As Fights Break Out Overnight In Poughkeepsie Two men suffered gunshot wounds as fights broke out amid a large crowd overnight in the City of Poughkeepsie, Lt. Matt Clark said. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of Church and Academy streets. A 29-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.
