Port Jervis Man Pleads Not Guilty To Charges Of Sexually Assaulting A Child

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – A Port Jervis man pleaded not guilty to charges of sexually assaulting a child on Friday, according to the Times Herald-Record.

Robert Mackerley Jr., 42, is facing three counts each of first, second and third-degree rape; four counts of first-degree sexual abuse; nine counts of disseminating indecent materials to minors; one count each of first-, second- and third-degree criminal sexual act, four counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, the Record said. 

Mackerley remained in Orange County Jail after Judge Nicholas De Rosa denied a reduction in bail. He will be back in court on Oct.25, the Record said.
