At Pino’s Pizza in Deer Park, the “Thanksgiving Specialty Pie” boasts all your festive favorites: turkey gravy, apple sausage stuffing, roasted turkey breast, and cranberry sauce made with dry figs, dates, and pears all piled on a pizza crust and topped with mozzarella.

Via Cuma Sourdough Pizza & Cucina held its grand opening on Monday, Aug. 19, in Valley Stream at 415 Rockaway Avenue.
Under the direction of chef-owner Luca Schiano Di Cola, the eatery serves up nearly a dozen pies, including margherita, Neapolitan, and capricciosa.
Diners can also opt for the salsiccia friarielli e provola, made with smoked fior di latte cheese, pork sausage, broccoli rabe, chili pepper, shaved parmigiano reggiano, and olive oil.
