A taxi driver was robbed and attacked by three teens during a ride in West Hempstead, Nassau County police announced on Saturday, Feb. 1. The 21-year-old driver was transporting the suspects near June Place and Theresa Avenue at 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, when they allegedly turned on him, police said. Police are asking for tips following a smash-and-grab burglary at a T-Mobile store on Long Island.
