Sexual Assault At Park In Capital Region Under Investigation
Police in the region are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred at a popular park. The incident occurred in Albany at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, in the area of Six Mile Park, located at 135 Fuller Road. According to Albany Police, when officers arrived at the park, they learned that the victim, a woman, was inside a vehicle at the time of the assault. 12-Year-Old Shooter Tried Murdering Woman In Capital Region, Police Say
A 12-year-old boy is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting a woman in the region. Albany Police were called at around 4 p.m. Monday, May 13, for a shooting near South Pearl and Schuyler streets. They found a 43-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her arm. The victim was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 24-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Capital Region Shooting; Search For Gunman Underway
A young man is fighting for his life following a late-night shooting in the region. The incident happened at around 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in Albany’s West Hill neighborhood, near First and Ontario streets.
