A Pennsylvania man suspected of murdering a woman at a high-end resort in the Hamptons was found dead hundreds of miles from the crime scene in New York. Thomas Gannon, age 56, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, according to Suffolk County Police. A woman’s death at a Long Island wellness center has turned into a murder investigation. Southampton Town Police responded to the hamlet of Water Mill’s Shou Sugi Ban House on Montauk Highway after a staff member found a guest dead in her room at around 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28. At the time, the agency said the death appeared to be an isolated incident and that there was no immediate danger to the public.
