Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers responded to numerous community complaints and conducted an inspection at Lucky Smoke Shop and Beer, located at 20 Floyd Road, at approximately 4 p.m., authorities said.

During the inspection, officers found three electronic gambling machines in the rear of the business. The devices were seized, police said.

The store’s manager, Ankit Patel, 30, of Selden, was charged with Possession of a Gambling Device, according to officials.

The Brookhaven Fire Marshal also cited multiple violations of the New York State fire code and condemned the location over safety concerns, police said.

Patel was issued a Field Appearance Ticket and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
