Colder Air, Snow, Sleet Likely To Return To Westchester

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Enjoy the taste of spring now, Putnam County. A new weather system will move into the area this weekend that could bring snow and sleet on Friday night.

Thursday will remain sunny, but not as warm as Wednesday with a high of 41. Wind chills will make temperatures feel closer to the low 30s, however.

Friday will be partly sunny with a high near 42. Clouds will increase during the evening bringing a chance of snow and sleet before midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Saturday will be mostly rain as temperatures are expected to stay well above freezing.
