Crackdown On Hudson Valley Massage Parlors Nets 3 Arrests
A Hudson Valley police department is continuing its investigation into unlicensed/illegal massage parlors and spas throughout the area, arresting three on this go-round of busts. The arrests occurred in Orange County on Friday, Aug. 9, and Thursday, Aug. 22, at several locations in New Windsor. According to Chief Daniel Valeri of the New Windsor Police, the department worked with New York Professional Enforcement investigators to check the businesses for violations and crimes. A Hudson Valley man convicted four times for burglary was nabbed again for another alleged home break-in. Dutchess County resident Jesse W. Moranski, age 41, of Beacon, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 13, for an alleged Orange County home burglary in New Windsor. Electric Skateboarder Seriously Injured In Hudson Valley Crash
The driver of a one-wheeled electric skateboard was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place around 2:43 a.m., on Tuesday, July 13, in Orange County. New Windsor Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Windsor Highway and Union Avenue, Chief Robert Doss said. The identity has been released of a man making repairs on his car at a self-storage facility who was killed after he got pinned under the vehicle overnight in Orange County, police said. Four people were arrested for providing illegal massages and other services following an undercover operation of New Windsor massage parlors, according to the Town of New Windsor Police Department.
