A Democratic chairman in the Hudson Valley and his son have been indicted for alleged election-related fraud. Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced Wednesday, Sept.13, that following an investigation into forged primary election petitions in Northern Westchester County, William Serratore, age 59, and Carmelo Serratore, age 24, in Mount Kisco, have been indicted and arrested on forgery related charges. A woman who was greatly involved in serving the citizens of Westchester County has died after a brave fight against health complications. Jeannie Palazola of Yonkers died on Friday, Nov. 18 at the age of 67, according to her obituary.
