Residents throughout the Hudson Valley are being asked to remain at home while clean-up from last night's storms continues. On Thursday, Sept. 2, police said many roadways are closed in Westchester County due to flooding, including: The Sprain Brook Parkway is closed at Central Avenue in Yonkers. Rye Woman Sentenced For DWI Crash That Killed Manhattanville Student
The family of a 21-year-old Manhattanville College student scolded the drunk driver who struck and killed their son in court at her sentencing on Wednesday. Rye resident Emma Fox, 26, was sentenced for her role as the driver in a fatal crash that took the life of Fishkill resident Robby Schartner, who graduated from Brookfield High School and formerly lived in Putnam County, in Garrison. The Westchester County woman who pleaded guilty to drinking, driving and killing a 21-year-old Manhattanville College lacrosse player is due to be sentenced this week.
