Woman Admits To Role In Kidnapping, Murder Of Man In Area
A Hudson Valley woman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the kidnapping and beating death of a man in the area.
Orange County resident Courtney Clemenza, age 33, of Chester, pleaded on Wednesday, March 24, in connection with the December 2019 death of a man beaten and bound on Kipp Road in the Town of Goshen, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
Three other individuals, Robert Haskell, age 55, Timothy Smith, age 37, and Seth Pelsang, age 31, all of Goshen, were also previously charged in connection with the man’s death.

Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of an Orange County man who was found beaten and bound on the side of a roadway.
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, around 8:15 p.m., Michael Partridge, 28 of Chester, was discovered by a passing motorist on North Hudson Street in the Village of Chester, severely beaten and bound, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
The motorist called 911 and the Village of Chester Police Department responded along with EMS.

An Orange County man and a Putnam woman were arrested by the state police Child Abuse Unit for unlawfully operating mental health offices in the area.
Elder Talentino, 53, of Monroe and Margaret Patterson of Lake Peekskill, also known as Charlene Patterson, 79, have been arrested on charges of unauthorized practice of a profession, the educational law felony, police said.
