The talk of the upcoming summer movie season kicks off in a big way this weekend with a film that hits close to home and even had parts filmed in the area. "The King Of Staten Island," the brainchild of funnyman and "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson hits the small screen on Friday, June 12, and features scenes shot in Westchester. Teen Charged With Murder For Fatal Daytime Shooting In Westchester
A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in broad daylight in Westchester on Tuesday. Yonkers Police Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos announced on Wednesday, Jan. 30, that they have apprehended Yonkers Gavin Chisolm, 16, for this alleged role in the fatal incident. Police also identified his victim, Kasean Tuthill. Teen Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight In Westchester
Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a teenage boy that occurred in broad daylight in Westchester. Officers from the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 to the area of South Broadway near the intersection of Vark Street, where there was a report of gunshots fired. At the same time of the report of shots fired, a 17-year-old Yonkers resident and a second shooting victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
