Police Investigate Damage Done To High School Field In Westchester Police are attempting to track down a driver who defaced a field at a high school in Westchester. Investigators at the Scarsdale Police Department received a report at approximately 9 a.m. on Friday, March 15, from a complainant who said that the field had sustained damage overnight. Police said that an unknown driver damaged the grass on the practice field across from the track and damaged the grass on the traffic island located near the new gym entrance. Course staff reported damage to the course that occurred sometime between Sunday, Aug. 5 and Monday, Aug. 6, Danbury Police said. The course manager estimates the cost to the repair the damage to be in the thousands of dollars. Richter Park Golf Course is offering a reward for information that leads to a conviction.
