A Highland Falls woman is facing DWI charges after being reported for erratic driving in Putnam, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. The Sheriff reports that Putnam County 911 received a call reporting an erratic driver traveling northbound on State Route 9D in the Town of Philipstown on Friday, June 14 around 4:30 p.m. A deputy responded to the scene and canvassed the area with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Service Unit (ESU). A man is facing charges after police say he was caught driving without a court-ordered ignition interlock device in Putnam. A Putnam County Sheriff allegedly observed the driver from Orange County commit a traffic violation on Route 9 in the Town of Philipstown on Thursday, April 4 around 7 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as 35-year-old Corey Prentice of Newburgh, according to police. Man Nabbed For Stealing Putnam County SPCA Police Donation Box From Market
A man who allegedly stole a donation box from a Putnam market has been arrested The Putnam County Sheriff's Office was informed of a larceny at the Appalachian Market in the Town of Philipstown on Thursday, Jan. 10, and dispatched to the scene to investigate. It was reported that the donation money box, which was for the Putnam County SPCA Police, was stolen from the market the night of Wednesday, Jan. 9.
