Teen Found Lying In Roadway Dead From Multiple Gunshots In Area, Police Say An 18-year-old teen was found shot dead lying in a Hudson Valley roadway. The shooting took place around 9:50 p.m., Monday, May 31, in Rockland County. A Spring Valley Police officer was on patrol on Crispus Attucks Road and heard multiple gunshots in the area, Detective Matthew Galli said. Responding officers found a male lying in the roadway on Rose Avenue where he was pronounced dead, Galli said. The teen suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. Father Charged With Beating 5-Month-Old Who's Hospitalized In Westchester A man is behind bars for beating a 5-month-old baby, breaking ribs and causing a skull fracture, according to the Spring Valley Police Department. Jonathan Castillo was arrested after Child Protective Services were notified by officials at Westchester Medical Center that the child had been admitted with serious injuries, Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Gail said.  A joint investigation by the police department and protective services was initiated and ended with the arrest of Castillo, said Gail.  He was charged with assault and criminal contempt and is being held on $500,000 bail.
