Pete Harckham and Assemblymember Chris Burdick revealed a $6.5 million resurfacing and paving project has started on a stretch of Route 35. Route 22 Stretch In Bedford Remains Closed After Crash This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 22 in Bedford remains closed after a crash involving a dump truck. Bedford Police said the crash occurred just before 10 a.m. Friday on Route 22 at Bedford Center Road.  The closure is between Bedford Center Road and Clinton Road and had been expected to last until about 1 p.m., but the road remains closed at 1:30 p.m. Police did not have information regarding injuries.  This is a developing story.
