Traffic Alert: Route 9W Closed In Parts Of Rockland/Orange Counties Following Crash Drives will want to avoid Route 9W in parts of Rockland and Orange County after a crash brought downed power poles and lines, closing the roadway. According to the New York State Police, the roadway is closed in both directions between Seven Lakes Parkway (Stony Point) and River Road (New Windsor); all lanes of two lanes are closed.
