21-Year-Old Woman Nabbed After Fleeing From Troopers In Westchester, Police Say
A 21-year-old Connecticut woman was apprehended after allegedly taking New York State Police troopers on a pursuit that began when she refused to stop for a traffic violation, authorities said.
Emily Mackinnon-Dunbar, of Waterbury, was arrested on Thursday, March 25, after state police attempted to stop her vehicle on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck for a traffic violation, said Trooper Tara McCormick.

Man With Stolen Handgun Fights With Police, Is Tased Before Arrest In Area, Police Say
A 26-year-old man who allegedly had a stolen loaded handgun in his waistband fought with police who attempted to arrest him during a traffic stop in the area.
Rawl D. Deslandes, of the City of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, after City of Poughkeepsie officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main and White streets, said Captain Richard Smith.
During the investigative stages of the stop, Deslandes was found to be in possession of a stolen loaded handgun, in his waistband, Smith said.

An area woman was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a home and spitting and kicking a state trooper after she was caught inside a home she didn't own.
Jeanette Wright, age 32, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Saturday, March 6, after a state trooper responded to Stony Ford Road in Campbell Hall for a burglary in progress, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
When the trooper arrived, he spotted Wright inside the residence. When she came to a side door where the trooper met her Wright said she had entered the wrong house and attempted to walk away, Nevel said.

A Northern Westchester man was arrested after allegedly fleeing from police and resisting arrest after failing to stop for having an expired tag.
Michael Goldberg, age 29, of Yorktown, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 21, after Yorktown police spotted him driving with a suspended registration, police said.
According to police, instead of stopping, Goldberg fled at a high rate of speed and when finally caught on Hedge Street where he stopped, Goldberg resisted arrest and was found to have an active warrant and to be in possession of Alprazolam pills.

Man Busted With Cocaine During Traffic Stop In Area, State Police Say
A New York man was busted with more than 41 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley.
Carlos F. Mota, age 30, of the Bronx, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 20, by state police in the town of Poughkeepsie, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
According to Hicks, around 2:40 a.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Honda CRV on Page Park Drive in the town of Poughkeepsie for a traffic violation.
An investigation determined Mota was in possession of what was later weighed as approximately 41.8 grams of cocaine.
