State Police Conduct Underage Drinking Initiative At 20 Northern Westchester Businesses Nearly two dozen area businesses were found to be in compliance during a New York State Police underage drinking initiative. On Saturday, Jan. 16, New York State Police investigators in Somers conducted an investigation into 20 area businesses, each of which was found to be in compliance when checked by undercover teens. Covid-19: Alert Issued For Exposure At Popular Area Restaurant Customers and employees at an area restaurant may have been exposed to COVID-19 following newly confirmed positive cases. The Sullivan County Department of Health Services issued an alert advising that at least four COVID-19 cases have been traced back to Peppino’s Restaurant on Lower Main Street in Callicoon.
