Resident Thwarts Burglary In Progress At Neighbor's Home In Area A 55-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly being caught in the act of breaking into an occupied home while a neighbor witnessed the event. The attempted burglary was reported around 9:52 p.m., Sunday, July 21, at a home on Point Street in New Hamburg, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber. The neighbor told police they saw Patricia Nelthrope, of the Bronx, enter their neighbor's house through an unlocked front door, said Faber.
